1. Summary
Globalization has many definitions. It can be simple or complicated. In generally, Globalization is classified three parts : Cultural / Political / Economic.
First part is Cultural Globalization.
It can say the spread of symbol, ideas and ideologies.
All part of world affect and affected each country's culture by media.
For example, Korea being changed through the influence of Westernization.
And Chinese and Japanese like Korean food, TV star, beauty style and so on
by Korean Wave's influence.
Second part is Political Globalization.
This means the change of a way of negotiations between two (or mere) countries.
The negotiation was aggressive and oppressive only a few decades ago.
However, these days it is attempted to resolve diplomatic way.
UN is a representative organization of the political globalization.
The last part is Economic Globalization.
It contains trade, investment, financial flows.
We can easily understand by thinking some multinational corporations.
This part is particularly noticeable in today's economy.
2. Mention
I am interested in the subject of Globalization.
So, I could study very pleasantly.
Especially, when we talked about 'Economic Globalization' part, I was very sympathetic to the contents of prezi. Because, I usually thought so too.
Through this lecture, I tried to define Economic Globalization by my own word.
3. Discussion
I want to ask you about <Does Globalization have equal power between positive side and negative side?>.
I think it's never no.
Many students say 'Globalization is double-edged sword.' I could not agree more with them.
In my opinion, Globalization has negative power more than positive power.
Because, We can easily see not individuality but standardization from many parts of life. We are in the middle of rapid change. Therefore, we have to establish a definite independence in order to protect identity.
If not, you and I will disappear without a trace. (Even our nation.)
